Mysterious Dissappearence

Well, I cleaned the skimmer, thinned out some feather calupera, and cleaned and replaced some carbon.....the next day woke up fed the fish when the lights came on and noticed my cheato was completely gone. just a few strands left in its place. where did it go? I never took it out, never thinned it out. I looked all in the DT thinking it got sucked in there but nothing found, no strands or anything. I again took out the skimmer thinking it got sucked into there and again nothing. I even asked the wife what she did with it. And the kids of course. They all said "we dont touch your tank" :headwalls:

I seriously have no idea. but no i doubt that didnt drink that weekend even hit the sack early like 9 new year's eve lol

Check any 90 degree elbows it could be stuck In.

thats gonna be a lil hard. But it might explain a burst of algae on my glass as its in an elbow rotting.....this is a new experience
