Mystery crab?

I just spotted a crab in my aquarium that I didn't put there! I guess it came in as a baby in some liverock. I've never seen one in any aquarium store, which is sort of worrying, and was just wondering if anyone new what it was, or knew a good website I could browse through to identify it.
It was very small, perhaps an inch across, and was hanging out under a rock pinching off little bits of algae and eating them. It was a sort of brownish red colour, but the thing that stood out most was that the very tips of its main claws (which were both the same size) were white.
I had thought something must be in there also as all these odd little larvae-type worms suddenly disappeared! So whatever it is it can eat worms and algae.
I know it wasn't a hermit crab, because it had it's own shell.

Any help would be greatly appriciated! thanks

All crabs are opportunistic feeders and will eat whatever is the most available at the time. As far as id, can you post a picture? There are tons of different crabs and getting an id from a photo alone is even difficult.

Aw, I don't have one :(
My camera was in the car at the time and he was hiding anyway. I'll be sure to try to photograph him if I ever see him again though! He seems to have a nice hidden home in the LR.
