Mystery Wrasse vs. Pyramid Snails

Has anyone tried using a Mystery Wrasse to help keep a pyramid snail population in check?

I have two clams in my tank. At the moment I only find pyramid snails on my other snails, like Astrea snails. They don't seem to be bothers the clams yet.

I try to take each snail out and scrape the pyramids of it, but can't keep up.

So, I'm considering trying a Mystery Wrasse to assist with my manual remove.

Also, do Mystery Wrasse's eat pods? I've got a mandarin dragonet and don't want it to have to compete with another pod-eater.

pyramids usually like snails or clams...since they are on your snails they shouldnt mess with you clams...mystery wrasse will help a little but the pyramids are more active at night when everyones asleep

I don't know if this is true for those snails, but I put in 3 tiny nassarius snails into my tank the other day and my peppermint shrimp thought it was a snack for them :/ At least the snails were free from a trade-in.
