"mystic sunset"

Thank you for the reply. :) That was kind of a bad picture. (sorry) It does look red with blue polyps. That sunset montipora behind it is a monster though.. I just wanted to know if this might become that so to say.

It's a beautiful coral. Will tolerate fairly high light levels - when you get the right intensity, it will be a very vivid pinkish red and the polyps a brilliant blue. Very fast growing monti. This is an older pic of a small colony. Will try to get a recent pic up soon.

Ok thanks. I've only had my coral for about two weeks now, but it does seem like the red/burgundy color in the link at the top of the page is changing to more of a pinkish red. I haven't moved it, so it's still placed on the bottom of the tank. I'm definitely hoping this is a step in the right direction and it's not bleaching or anything. I'll give it another week or so and try to post a current picture. Thanks again. :)

was one of the first corals to recede when i had high phosphates. Beautiful coral! Hope to try again someday.

Just took a top down pic of the colony. I moved since the last photo was posted and this shot was taken today - three months after the colony was broken off the rock and placed in a new location.
