Thanks Dudester and ipodhommie!

Actually my tank looks more blue in person, it just looks like that when I take a picture in an angle.
I'm running BLV 10k's w/ T5 actinics.

Gorgeous tank and livestock. Thanks so much for posting all the pics. :)

I love your Japanse brain!! Is it tricky to keep all your LPS happy together with the SPS? Chemical warefare and all that? Do you run carbon and if so, how often do you change it out?

Thanks...

thanks canarygirl. the only tricky part is the placement of corals. some lps can't tolerate high light/flow. I run carbon and GFO, and I change it out every 6 to 8 weeks.

Here's the most recent picture of my brain.

I am seriously considering a frameless and braceless tank and I was wondering if you know weather the builders do anything different in the seems so that there is added strength? I really want to go this style but just a little scared!

i think AGE build a brace into the pvc bottom for the panels

hi,,do you have live sand on the bottom or just bare bottom ,,,looking so clean...just wonder,..if you have bare bottom then do you have to paint or do something on the bottom so it not looking like clear glass?? you know what i mean??

naka, Do you have trouble with your magnet when you clean your tank? I have to be very careful when I am close to the rim because sometimes water will come splashing out and then I have to grab some wet paper towels. Its kind of annoying but I guess it comes with the expense of going rimless.

I was wandering when you were going to ask me that :)
The top 2" is best to go over w/ acrylic cleaning sponge. I usually do it after water change. I takes about 1 to 2 minutes.

How are the corals doing? flowerpot, xenia, rainbow monti, etc...?

Well something has to do w/ moon b/c both my clowns and chromis spawned last night :) I'll post the pics later.
