Harry, he has been a model citizen in my tank. So far it's been almost a year and left my lps/softies alone. (open brain, xenia, blastos, zoas, cynarina, scolys, etc...)

Gorgeous! Thanks for the update. No nipping on the sps either? How about the clam? What a great fish ;)

How is that Japanese anemone doing btw? Still around? Take care Naka!

No nipping on corals or clams, just rocks here and there.
Japanese anemone is doing fine, I'm getting tired of feeding it almost everynight. :)

Hi James,

How far is your remote sump from your tank? Is your Eheim 1260 handling it or would you consider getting a bigger pump?
Thanks in advance.

My sump is right behind my tank, so not far at all. I have a 1262 as a back up, and I tested both pumps for my tank. I didn't see any advantage by going w/ bigger pump IMO. I'm not a fan of huge return pump.

nice work naka mabye you can help me i have tons of micro bubbles.. i am running my return pump full blast about 1200 an hour.... what are your numbers??? my skimmer is in my sump.....

What sized tank? What size (in inches) is the sump? How large is the return section? Does it have baffles? Where is the skimmer located? Where does the skimmer pour out? How is your return pump oriented? Does the sump have room to hold more water, raising the height to avoid sucking in air? Is the return section bubble-free? If so, do you have locline returns in the display and are these fully submerged?

Yes, I'm using the Seachill TR20 (1/3 hp) for my tank.

Thanks Marc! I know you're the sump master :)

Thanks Naka, I was about to purchase the same unit until I discovered where the power plug goes. My current 1/10 JBJ is left of my stand which would of exposed the power wire not making it kid safe. I may just get a 1/4 JBJ instead, I'm also afraid of tripping the breaker with a 1/3 and lights on the same circuit.

James (I hope I remembered that correctly, Naka!), I finally got myself a piece of the Sunset Montipora that I saw in your tank last January. I was in New York and at their frag swap I found an affordable piece. :D

Nuuze - no problem, keep me updated on your tank thread

Hawaiianwargod - no updates yet, I'm going to let my corals grow more before taking more pictures.

gsoaxionsk8 - thank you very much!

Marc - good find! Find a nice location and Don't move it. It grows pretty fast for encrusting monti.
