naked oce with a regular oce?

I had two oce's. One jumped last night Fortunately it was the female. Can I buy a naked and have them play nice? I'm pretty certain the naked is an oce as well. I will double check before I buy.

Well, I know that if you put clowns of different species together they supposedly will fight to the death. If the naked is in fact an oce, will it play nice with my regular oce?

Yes Ive seen them paired up before. Either way they are still both Ocellaris clowns.

That should work. I mean...I just googled a naked clownfish, hoping to not see a naked clown instead, and saw a really cool fish! It looks just like a normal ocellaris, just without the stripes. And I have read in other threads that their Maroon clowns paired and they were GSM and WSM. So this SHOULD work.

they'll pair up eventually...it might not look promising at first, but they'll be fine...i hope. =)

My nakeds dont play nice with anyone including each other. They are mean as fire.

Nakeds from ORA are Oceallaris. You're perfectly fine. Cute clowns to boot.

FWIW, it is possible to pair up different species of clownfish...just not worth the risk for most people.

Percula x ocellaris, tomato x ocellaris, maroon x ocellaris are all fairly common and hybrid offspring are available in the trade if you look hard enough.

Of course there are many others as well.
