Greetings reefers,
This morning I removed a single pod of aiptasia that was hitchhiking under a small piece of rock that I purchased about 3 months ago. (I bought a bird's nest coral attached to the rock). I boiled some RODI water in the microwave, then used a turkey baster to (hopefully) kill the invader. Then sucked him right up in the turkey baster - so hopefully problem solved! But...
I also noticed another little critter that I am uncertain about. It is mixed in with a group of zoas, attached to a rock, that was purchased from the same vendor.
I've attached a picture of questionable inhabitant and need to know if he should stay or go. Also - if I should remove him, please provide your best recommendation for doing so. He is very close to the zoas and I'm not sure I want to use the hot water method as it may damage the zoas.
Many thanks
