Name your top 5 purchases, that every one should have for their tank. I would like to see what people think and if I have all of them... if you ain't got 5 name 3. like skimmer, lights ro/di, etc...

Ok great, we got a start... though I don't think some of those items are TOP 5 for "Everyone" but I think some of those are... maybe if we get some more posts we can get a tally... thanks for the input!

What I think has been invaluable.... maybe not my favorite purchases, but definitely something I wouldn't do without!

RO/DI unit
An 8-switch ON/OFF power center by American DJ

And my one suggestion is to GO BIG because no matter how large your tank is, it's never large enough!

autofeeder --> so i can go on vac set to feed once a day.
Silent Air B11 battery air pump... cheap only $12 that can save fish life.
back-up main pump
controller ---> don't have 1 yet but looking for aqua jr. or rk2
(hopefully after xmas)
