Nano 6025 problem

Hey guys,

I have two of the nano 6025s and they have been awesome for about a month, but recently one of them has started rattling. I've given it about 3 days now and it is still rattling. Last night I took it out of the tank and cleaned it and when I put it back in the rattling was still there. They aren’t on a wave maker they are on 24/7. Any idea what the problem is?

Can you help me out with this?

Thanks,

Scott

Yes, the shaft likely came loose, this is caused by faults that occured in the first batch. If you send me the pump I will replace it with a new one from the last bacth where these issues were resolved.

I have the same problem with the shaft coming loose on the 6025. This 6025 is from "the last batch where these issues were resolved". But the problem remains.
If one looks at the prop spinning , you can tell the shaft is on its way to becoming loose when the prop is no longer staying centered and starts to bounce around. The prop will still spin but the flow is decreased. Is this correct or is there something different happening?
The clips on my bracket have cracked off from me having to remove the pump repeatedly and troubleshoot why its not working. I just reinsterted the shaft and put it all back in the tank and within 1 minute the shaft is loose and the prop is bouncing around. This behavior is going to really shorten the life of the pump. This is pump number #2 and I fear that Im going to lose my patience with the 6025.
You have been very helpful Roger and the last thing I want to do is complain like this but my only intention is to help solve these issues. It is too bad some of these pumps are giving you problems. Would you recommend putting a dab of crazy glue on the shaft before inserting it? I think this will eliminate the problem. Does the shaft need to be removable?
