Nano Cube light

Hey,
I have a friend that has a Nano Cube 24 and her light just suddenly went out. I took out one of her bulbs and put a new one in and both the new and the other old lights came on. I then took the new bulb out and replace it back with the old one and they both came on like nothing happened. Now her lights are messing up and now they won't come back on even when trying to mess with it. Is it a ballast problem? If so is there a good place to order another ballast or another light?

how old is the nano?, my mother in law had one do the same on here 12 gallon and it was just less than a year old and the nano company sent a new ballast.then the fans went out and they sent new fans. then the lid warped and they sent a whole new lid. she bought it from petsolutions.com and i called them and found the number for the nano cube manufacturer. hope this helps

yea I checked nanotuners.com out and they got alot of cool and high tech stuff lol. does she need to have a recipt or anything to get a new ballast, she got it from aquarium designs? i believe it has been about a year to come to think of it since she purchased it.
Thanks guys for your replies.

These symptoms look less like a ballast and more like a connection issue. Before you go to all the trouble of return shipping, I would wiggle all the connections really well. Although all of us do it, salt water and metals are just really not meant to be close to each other.
