Some culerpa macro algea got into my main tank which is only 12 gallons, is there any small fish or invert that would eat it for me?

When it grows in between rocks it is next to impossible to just "pick out" I need something that feeds on it. Someone at a LFS told me an abolne might eat it? Is this true?

I have some red macro gowning out of a rock and i have seen the emerald pick at it once so far but he didn't continue to go after it he moved on.
If you are referring to a green Abalone i believe they are prove hair algae eaters and that about it. I am not 100% certain on those though.

ok cool, I thought about the lettuce nudis but didnt really know, I will give them a try. Thanks everyone!

Abalones are pretty big for a nano and would knock alot of stuff over. I had one for a long time in my 150.
Mine ate the brown diatom algae though not macro.

A lettuce nidi might climb into the sump but you could try one.
My turbo likes to do that when I have the lid cracked open for heat.
