Nano Mushroom 7 Pack from LiveAquaria

Hate to see that, dude. Maybe they'll pull through.

I'm sure F&S will make it right. They've always been pretty up-front with me.

Can you id the second pic?

Seems like a small blue I got isn't attached to a rock at all. It appears to be some sort of scallop covered with coralline.

I have faith in F&S as well.

As for IDing, I'm not really sure or good at that, it almost looks like a florida ric, which would mean I got 2 florida rics in my pack instead of the one I was supose to (not positive on the ID though). But the mushroom in the second pic is in the process of splitting, there are two "mouths" and looks like it's seperating.

I just got off the phone with D&S they credited my credit card for my losses. I can't say enough good things about them, even though I had a bad order here I will still be shopping with them in the future.

I hope this is used as an exmaple of Live Aquaria's great customer service and poor quality livestock.

Very nice. Hope they pull through.

It's great that LA is giving you your money back, but I wonder how many fish/inverts have died so far from the shipping? I've seen 5 seperate accounts of people (in the past two day on this forum) getting livestock from them w/o heat packs and the livestock comes in like <60 degree water.

I just received six ricordia from sealifeinc.net that I had ordered and although the box was extremely cold, i belive that they all survived. In fact, i ordered six for about $100, they sent nine total and they all look fantastic.

I don't order in the winter for this exact reason, I've had horrid luck with heat packs not working well enough for the weather, I stop ordering in Nov, shouldn't done it sooner as my last order from reefscience came in with no heat packs and I lost 3 out of 4 corals and they don't have the great guarentee LA has. Now I won't order again till it's at least 50 degrees or higher which is a long way away. It'll save me some money though.

Sucks for sure, I wouldn't drip acclimate anything coral wise especially in the winter if the water gets cold it suppresses ammonia while it is good for oxygen. I would just temp acclimate and place in tank or QT tank. That is what I have done through out the past winter and summer months with 0 losses to date. Heat packs are good but if the box is sealed air tight or almost air tight the heat pack will stop working as it uses up the oxygen in the box......You might have been better to just temp acclimate the rics then doing the drip acclimation as well.....JMHO.
