Nano Osmolator power supply.

Extremely frustrated. While setting up my new unit the power supply dropped into the sump and then I figured out, these things are not sealed. It took water in and that's that. Now I have to spend another $28 to get a new one. That truly sucks. Nearly every power supply I have is sealed and definitely all the aquarium equipment.
Beware, no second chances.

I would be interested in knowing more about these sealed power supplies, we are unaware of the existence of such units. In general, any power supply to our knowledge will be destroyed by water. Some simple AC coils are sealed, but any switching type adapter for DC output will to the best of my knowledge have an open circuit board.

Thanks for that info.

So I let it dry for 5 days and got brave enough to plug it into a GFIC. No bang. It works.
Now I love Tunze again. LOL.
