Nano Osmolator Sensor Black Ring

The black ring inside the sensor is loose and does not sit on the bottom of the sensor casing. Additionally, the ring is only half a ring and is double stacked, sort of like if you took the black ring and folded it in half. Is this black ring supposed to sit on the bottom of the casing and is it supposed to be folded?

It should be a single ring, it is a magnet and if broken, it will not work. This part is very easily replaced, if you are in the US, just PM me your address and I will send you the part. You just remove the c clip on the post, slide the old one off, slide the new float on.
