Nano Skimmer Question

I am helping my parents setup there first saltwater tank and need some advice on a skimmer. The tank is a 55gal FOWLR with 10 gal sump. They were going to be using a CSS 125 for there skimmer. But I was wondering if using a Tunze Nano would be a better choice. I know the Nano is only rated for 52gal, but would it still be better than a CSS 125. I have the 9010 on my 90gal reef and love it, but there budget for a skimmer is about $130. Any opinions would be helpful.

I asked a friend who has used both he said that they are about equal but the CSS125 is bigger, more expenisve and harder to set up. His and my honest opinion is that it would be better to get a bigger skimmer but if you have to stay below a $150 budget the 9002 is probably better. He said the bigger corallife skimmers are pretty decent but the 125 was hard to set up and took weeks to get adjusted properly. Keep in mind though that the 9002 needs at least a 7.5" water level so you will need a deep partition in the sump.
