ChingChai...your tanks are INSANE!!:wildone: would you like an overseas apprentice?

jackson, nicely done. i like the evolution of your tank and the branch rock is going to make for some serious flow.

kind of a newb question but what exactly are the rules about sps touching each other? some tanks are so densely packed that i dont see how you could avoid it.

This thread just ruined my day, I thought my 34g Solana was looking good...I've now seen what beautiful tanks look like.

I've been wrestling with a few things for a while now (and maybe this isn't the place to ask)

1. Is my vortech MP10 on reef crest 100% enough flow for an SPS dominated tank?

2. Is my 10 hour photoperiod far too long? I run a 250w Sunpod with a 14k Phoenix bulb about 6 inches from the surface. Due to the large windows in my apartment my tank also gets a large amount of natural light (never direct sunlight) If my lights go off at 11pm, and sunrise is 6amish...am I basically creating a 17 hour photoperiod? Should I be keeping my blinds locked down as much as I can?

PS: You guys do some incredible incredible work, I've met quite a few people who scoff at me when I say I only keep nano's, but clearly good things come in small packages!

Thanks Lagger. It's not easy finding places to put these corals without touching. For a while I didn't have to touch anything but things are getting close and I find myself moving corals a lot lately to make room for growth.
A more recent pic.....added a clam and moved/removed a few corals (excuse the frag rack).

Really love your rock work. Looks like your corals are suspended in water.
