I pre-ordered 2 6025's for my 40 breeder. the acrylic is 3/8". will the included magnets hold or is that too thick?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you pre-order? I can't seem to find any vendor's offering this yet

No, they are made for small tanks and the flow spread is not really going to be effective on anything over 4ft long. A 6025 is good for the 10-29 range. A 6045 for the 30-58 sizes, maybe 75 with a couple of units. The 6055 is going to be best for anything under 120gals. They just aren't for big tanks, the existing Streams will still be available for the larger tanks.

the thing i like about tehm is tehy are small and pack a big punch whith out having a big black blob in the tank. Can they be speed up and down like the larger streams???
what about a nano wave box?

The 6055 is controllabel the others are not.

A nano wave box is not tehcnically feasible, since it works on resonance frequency a small tank would have a very short frequency and almost no wave.
