nano stream 6025 observations

I have 2 of these. the first one was very quiet the second one rattled. The only difference was that the second one was missing the rubber isolation mounts. when i put it in the holder that had them the rattling stopped. Also i just received the output screen covers and it really in my opinion chops up the flow and makes it even more gentler then without it.Could be me but my clown fish are no longer hiding in the corner when the stream is on!

i got mine in the mail quickly as well the rubber mounts do a ton to stop the rattle i wonder if other who complain about the rattle dont use them

well it did not eliminate the rattle 100% but it is 70% better. You have to expect a little noise in this hobby. I have a 1350 sq ft ranch and before i could hear it anywhere in the house. Now it is only in the room the tank is in and its not that noticeable really! The biggest improvement IMO was the addition of the output screen. It just seemed to spread the flow out a little more.

I put my rubber feet on and I still have the rattle, although the past few days it has not as bad. Seems like its getting better.

mine has been on for over a month and it doesnt make loud noise i have a remora HOB that is 100times noisyierand it is quieter than my rio 180

exactly how bad is this rattle? I have a 6000 and can't hear it at all. This could be a deal breaker for me.

I have one that is dead silent and the other unit has what would be just a slight rattle. Not louder then my remora skimmer really. Roger said they should quiet up and they will replace the ones that won't.
