Nano Stream Problems

The only remaining problem is the holder clips and we are working on that and the ones we make now are much better than at first but we are going to improve them further in the next few months. The motors now seem to be trouble free.

I am experiencing all the kinks and problems associated with the first batch. It never restarts after a power interruption and it rattles a lot. Can I send in the motor for repair?

What about the rusting impeller problem? My 6025 seized up so I took it out to clean. In doing so, I noticed the rust. Being a Canadian, I did a quick search on our local BB (aquariumpros.ca) and it seemed there are quite a few of us with this problem. Is there a fix out there?

We have solved the rust issue by changing shaft manufaturers. The new shafts are just staring to come in with the new pumps. I would contact the distributor in Canada, you should be able to get a replacement.

i bought one of the originals and it also does not restart when the power comes back on. it also has occassionaly just stoped. the only way i was able to get it to work again was to rattle it with a stick.

is there a way to get a replacement?

What model do you have? Has the shaft come loose or does it stay fixed in the pump?

i have the smallest model. i do not think its has come lose but ill have to check next time it stops.

Check, if the shaft is OK, likely the disk has just worn out so the spacing isn't right. This happens when sand or debris gets in the pump and as a result we now added a stainless steel disk to prevent this problem.

ok this makee sense. my pump does get dirty often. is there any way i can fix this? or do i just need to clean the pump often?

We upgraded the parts to include a SS disk as well as the nylon one to prevent this. You will still want to keep them clean but this will be a big help. Double check and send me a PM with what you find and I can send the parts to fix it.

I have 2 older 6025 and my clip is broken on both. Can you send me the parts and these newer parts you are talking about. I will send pm with my personal info.
