this is a question for Roger but if anyone else has an answer feel free! i've just bought 2x 6025's and being an avid reader of this forum it seems that they have a couple of problems ,namely the stainless steel prop shaft becoming detached from the motor and the plastic clips breaking on the mount, are these problems still happening or is it just on the earlier models? the plastic clip issue evidently isnt being covered under warranty in Australia nor is the shaft detatching,i believe this is due to a parts shortage rather than Tunze not caring,so basically were on our own.
the clip breaking has a fix here for the diy'r ,the clamp and mount can be drilled and fitted with a plastic nut and bolt but with the shaft can this be re-glued into place? would super glue work? any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received,by the way the 6025's are fantastic so far with no problems!

That problem does not occur on the new pumps, the molds were all changed as was the shaft itself in late February. I think you should be able to get the motor exchanged. I have had success using a product sold at auto parts stores as plastic welder, it comes in a two part tube like epoxy but it is as methylacrylate type adhesive, it has a strong smell which burns your eyes a bit. It will hold the shaft in but it is still tricky to get it centered properly and get enough glue on the shaft.
