nano tank chillers

Who has put a chiller on a smaller sized tank and which did you use?

Soon I will be breaking down what is in it (1-Sebae, 1-4" Maroon Clown, 1-Frogspawn, 1-Clam) and selling/trading them off to convert it to a QT/frag tank for SPS.

Because I will only have a limited number of frags at any one time, and small ones at that, my alk/ca useage will be managable. What I need to worry about is keeping it cool.

Has anyone used the micro chiller on a 24g, and how has it worked.

I got mine of CL for $100 and it looked brand new!
It's also a heater too so that helps in the winter.

It has no moving parts other than a fan that comes on when the chiller or heater are really working hard.

Well before you guys jump in, I just found the importer website and it only claims tanks up to 12Gs..
So I'm not so sure now?? First website or importer website..

I use the Arctica nano chiller by JBJ. It's not cheap at nearly $300, but I've never had a problem with it running my 28G with 150 HQI MH for the last 8 months. It's very quiet, as I never hear it when it's on. Only when the green LED light is on, on the front do I know the chiller is in operation.

This isn't going to be a high dollar set up. I am hoping that I will pay attention to it more, cuz I ignore it right now, and don't want to tear it down.......more of reincarnate it into something useful.

Or another option is to buy a bigger one for my 75g that won't be burned up when I upgrade.

Broadening the discussion, Who has used the Current Prime inlines. I am all about modular and like the integrated heater and UV sterilizer.
