Nano Upgrade insights requested

I have just started setup for my 29G Nano. (I will be testing my salinity tonight) I plan to have LR, a few fish and would like to try my hand at maintaining corals. Are there any upgrades to the "stock items" that came with the 29G Nano you would suggest replacing or adding (skimmer, filter system, etc.) or just leave as is. Open to all suggestions. Please include specifics regarding brand/model. Thanks

It might help to be more specific with what tank you actually own. Is it a nanocube, biocube, aquapod, or what?

I'd suggest working your way through the nano section of RC and looking for build threads with the 29 gallon nanocube. You'll find a lot of good information this way.

I have the 24g nano and have upgraded the pump and light.

150mh sunpod, pricey but I think it's worth it.

Yes, the light on the nano helps a lot. Also, for me at least, the Current USA Fission Nano Skimmer helped. It doesn't come close to regular skimmer quality but it removes surface scum, plus it is only $20. As far as corals go I have had amazing success with the Kenya Tree. It grows very well.
