Nano wavebox problem

I have a new nano wavebox that I have been using for about 2 weeks. About every 2 days, I have to shut it down and clean the pump. The controller shows that the pump is blocked. Everytime I disassemble the pump, it is clean. I have never found any blockage. When I restart the wavebox, it operates fine for another 2 days. then the cycle starts again. Is this normal? Is there a problem with my wavebox or controller? For reference, I have a bare bottom tank and little detritus in my tank.

Thanks for the help.

Doc, you should send your box in so Roger can check it out. That is not normal when you have to do cleaning every two days.

There is no indicator on the controller for the pump being blocked. It almost sounds like the foodtimer is being activated, do you have any pets or small children who may be pushing the foodtimer button?

Roger,
Let me try and explain better. I have the manual out to use the correct terminology. My wave box will run correctly for about 2 days then the pump on light will start flashing. The wavebox pump will not run and produce any wave. I have unplugged it and when I plug it back in the pump on light still flashes. If I take the wavebox out and clean it, then the unit works correctly for about 2 more days and the cycle starts again. I also noticed the light on the power supply unit also flashes when the pump on light is flashing.

This is different from the foodtimer. The pump on light goes off when I press the foodtimer. And there are no children or pets in the house.

Thanks for your help.

OK, it sounds like a pump problem, can you send it in and I will check it out and replace it if necessary.
