Nano Wavebox Question

My tank is 36" x 24" x 16". There is too much rock in the middle so I cant place it to the side glasses because there will be rock on the way. Would it be okay if I place the wavebox to the back glass facing the front? Would the wave be any different than placing the sides?

Secondly, I have a multicontroller for my two 6055 with Interval 2 mod (I dont want them to shut down, but just to slow down). Can I use the nano wavebox on the multicontroller while the 6055 is on the Interval 2 mod?

First, you can mount the nano wavebox in the back of your tank and flow toward the front.

Second, you want to run the wavebox with the controller and the pump on interval 2 i am not sure i understand what you are trying to accomplish.

What is interval 2 mod?

you can run your nano wavebox with the multi controller by change the jumper to ext. But i don't recommend it....

So there is no difference between placing the wavebox to the back or to the sides, right? It will create the same wave.

I basically have the same question, if I place it behind the rocks, how much would its effectiveness be cut down?

The wave pretty much the same as i try it on the 75g during RAP. As long as it has a straight shot no rock work in the way it will work just like mounting it the other way.

I got my nano wavebox, its creates great waves but its quite noisy. I mean everytime it turnes on and off it makes the sound of cutting wood with a saw. Is it because its new or is there a problem?

Not suppose to have any sound. Why don't you remove the bottom plate and check for any kind of blockage or rubbing mark on the pump propeller and the cover... I have the same unit and it run silence...

In another thread I read that it took two weeks for Roger's to run silent.

Yes it will take couple weeks for the pump to break in. I think i misunderstand your statement "it makes the sound of cutting wood with a saw"

Mine ran silently before my cat destroyed it... a saw cutting wood makes it sound like something is very very wrong.

The sound is like a saw cutting wood but the volume is not as loud, in fact I think its getting less and less everyday (or I am just getting used to it)

It has been 10 days and its still kind of noisy. Much less then before but still makes sound.
