Nano Wavebox - Smaller waves?

Hi Folks

I've got a 48x30x16 100g rimless and I've been eyeing the new nano wavebox. My problem is, I only have about 1" to play with from the water level to the edge of the tank. I'm really not interested in the drastic wave motion of the surface water, but I would really like to achieve the back and forth motion of the water in the middle of the tank. I know the two are related, but is it possible to achieve some back and forth motion while keeping the surface movement to a minimum using a nano wavebox?

You can adjust the heigh of the wave on your nano wavebox.

As Steve said, you just adjust the voltage on the power supply.
