I just heard of this product I am wondering when it comes out? Does it need to reside on the corner of the tank, or it could be anywhere in the back plane?

If using a magnet how much does it add to the 2" thickness?

It has to be on the side or a corner, the magnet is on the 4" side making it 4.5" about. It won't be available until sometime between October and December.
