Nanocube -Lightbulb change algae problem?

Hey Folks,

Wondering if anyone has had any major problems like this before. I'd say I had my tank running really nicely for about a year and then algae began to form and corals didn't look so nicely. I didn't change it till late when I realized maybe it was the bulb. I ordered 2 pairs of bulbs, stock JBJ lightbulbs since they worked so well with the tank originally. Anyhow, the algae problem never went away and changed somewhat. It's now green algae that keeps forming quickly. I can't seem to get rid of it. I tried the 2nd pair of bulbs and no luck... same thing. Any suggestions?

I haven't done major changes to the tank so I figured it was the light bulb. Water has tested fine.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. The nasty hair algae is driving me nuts. Growing all over the back wall and rocks.

if the water is testing fine, that might mean that all that hair algae is sucking up the nitrates and phosphates. If you can locate what is putting out phosphates, or nitrates, then you have your problem...
