PBT Update.
Bad new for my PBT, it looks like he developed black ick overnight
He was fine yesterday and eating well, and this evening he was hiding a lot and I didn't pay much attention. When I fed him he came out to eat and darted back into his cave. It looks like he's got lots of black spots on him, which I am guessing is black ick.
I read that you should do a freshwater dip for this since it's some sort of tube worm? I have never done this or heard of black ick, so any opinions would be good.

Thanks, I found that article as well. I have a bit of a better understanding of it now, but I was hoping someone with actual experience with them could advise me as well.
From what I read, it's not like reg ick, it's actually worse. As in now it looks like I have to remove all the fish and treat them, since I don't think it will go away like ick or have the fish fight it off. I think this is more serious.

Thanks Marc, I will post there. I tried to search and it won't let me yet until the traffic calms down. Thanks for the link too.
The photo in the link of the tang does look similar to mine, but he doesn't have as much as that (yet). In addition, he's developed a very large ring of some sort. None of this was there last night when he was eating and acting fine.

I'm not really sure
We did a fw dip for 10 minutes to see if that helps. This is my first time ever doing this. I kept an eye on him and after 5 minutes he was doing well so we decided to go a lil longer. He was active and alert and swimming around.I had to tear apart my tank to catch him.. so that was frustrating. Seems like it's always something with this tank grrr. Tomorrow is going to be a huge day for us for some family issues so it's just a sh***y night.
I am going to go take a bubble bath and lay down. Goodnight everyone and thanks for the help and support. I'll update tomorrow on Ocean. Hopefully he surives through the night.
