After looking over our stand good we found a few problems with it.. so we decided to go ahead and return it and get another style.. we found a nice one with a matching canopy that looked good so we went ahead and got it. I'll update more with photos later tonight!

ANYWAY,

Back on topic. After finding some problems with the original stand we went up to one of our LFS to see what they had and found this very cool AGA Modern stand in both black and oak. Our friend owns the shop and gave us a very good deal on a great setup. Thanks Dave!

The tank is going where our old African Cichlid 72 bow sat.

Here is the stand. It's very open and easy to get into which is a good thing.

Like the new stand and canopy. Cant wait to see the sump. Are you making it from scratch or using a tank w/baffles?

Went with the canopy bc it matched the stand nicely and so we can retro stuff instead of buying an all-in-one. This way we can add w/e we want or need like moonlights and T5 supplementation to get a nice look.

Also never had a canopy before and thought it would be fun to try out

I hope so! Paid for it on Wednesday no word about shipping or anything. Website just says processing but nothing else.
