I have those reflectors and they seem like perpendicular would be a good way to set them up, also since there is no brace you should put them closer to center so less light is wasted.

It's a pretty good store.. it just changed owners. You can also check out Centreville Aquarium off of 29 in Centreville. Dave has a large selection of tanks as well.

There is also Annandale Super Petz on the way to Walleys right down 236. It's right behind the Popeyes across from the Wendys.

Frag Tank

We setup this small frag tank for fun to raise up some corals and frags from our main tank. It's just a 20g high, but after we move we are probably going to use a 30g breeder that we are using for QT right now. We are moving over some corals from the 75 that we are selling and trying to clear out before we move also.

We also ordered some Frag Discs from That Fish Place. We got like 60 of them for like $12 or something like that.

So have you ordered your 120 yet? or are you going with something like 200'ish now?

Those are some nice frags. Are you useing the 20k 150w HM for that tank also?

Yea, we ordered the tech 120 =) It will be here early next week!

Thanks! No, I'm actually using one of the 150w 14k phoenix fixtures from my 75. It's just a temp setup until we can get something better worked out. Probably a 30 breeder.

Good to know you can get that much growth with using 14k. I remember reading your a big fan of the Phoenix 14K bulbs.

Yea, I don't know how the growth rate compares to 10ks and other bulbs, I just know for me I like the color and the way it makes our corals look. All of our corals have grown well under them.. but we don't keep SPS or anything that's very difficult to grow.

Nice! I haven't been to Centerville Aquarium either. I guess we will just have to make a day of it today. I have been to Annandale Super Pets several times. I'm not crazy about this weather we are having but I guess it could be a lot worse!

"Looks exactly that color in person." lol, funny you should put it that way. unfortunately, any kind of display device (especially PC monitor) looks vastly different on different systems. ie, what you see isn't what I see even if we view the same image.
