when desigining this 240 i would put energy savings first this tank has the opportunity to be set up a long time, you guys are young and you will own the house its going in the tank could be set up for 20 years...
40-100 dollar savings a month for 20 years will really add up, in fact its a retirement fund.

Just do what makes you happy, and dont listen to people here because they'll tell you to sell your first child for a bigger tank.

yeah, I checked out the website and it seems like they have a lot to sell. Maybe I will try them out and get a sump or something.
You could try taking some of the chaeto and shake it in the display (the pods should fall off) and it would spread them into the display so the mandarin could eat them.Originally posted by NanoGurl
I also got my mandarin to eat pellets now. This made me really happy bc he was getting very skinny, but now he's filling out again. I don't understand it bc I can see a ton of pods inside my tank at night. Not sure why he's not eating them.

No, nothing new with the 75.
My clown died in my nano thoughHe started breating really rapidly and looked stressed. I thought it was brooks maybe but he didn't develop any other symptons or outward disease. I tested all of my lelves and everything was zero.. even nitrates which was surprising. The SH and pipefish are doing great... so it was really odd to me that the clown was what died.
