Aww. How cute. What did you name it?

I'm addicted to this thread now! And jealous! i want a new tank now......... let me rephrase that, i want a bigger tank now! (starting a new nano next week :-))

How's the horse doing?

I have been following your thread since day 1 and I must say my wife and I love your tank -- so much that we are now upgrading our 22 gallon nano to a 75 ...

Biggest question I have is ... approx. how much rock do you have in the display. I dont want to pack ours full or spend unnecessary $$ on LR.

I love these little guys - I don't think I'll ever have the cojones to try to keep one of them, though.

They are not really that hard to keep alive... just require certain things. They are really interesting to watch.

Nanos are great! I might get another one too lol.

He's doing okay... did not eat today :/ So that kinda has me a bit worried.

Awww thanks =) 75's are great tanks. You might want to check out the 90g if you like the 75... just a lil taller same footprint. I liked the "wide angel" view of the 75 better, but a lot of people like the 90g better.

I have about 150 pounds in there between the rockwork and sump. It may be a bit less since nobody seems to think I do... but that's what I paid for. Really depends on the type of rock and how dense it is and how long it's been in water too... all makes it heavier.

I would just buy the amount that looks good to you =)

Well, this guy isn't going into my reef.. he's going into my nano with my other SHs. The water temsp in my reef are too high he would not surive.

Here is a photo of one of his friends =)

Yea....I knew that....Really I did;) They will look very cool together.

You have been posting like mad in the last couple of minutes:lol: I bet your fingers are getting sore...Great thread you have NG:D

Says the 'gurl that vanished for a while.

I hope your new horse does well and starts eating soon. Has it seen the black one?

Only from posting on RC not from chat on here or yahoo :P

Yea, I have two black ones (reidi) and one yellow (kuda). They have been hanging out together at times... but the yellow one has not ate yet. I was told he was eating frozen mysis.. but he looks like he's searching for live pods to me. Showed no interest so far. Starting to get concerned this will be one full day with no food... which is not good for SH.

Thanks =)

It is the first day. It should get comfortable, and copy what the others are doing during feeding time.

WOW, I made it to the end! is it still 2007? lol! Sexy tank, sexy pets, sexy girl..what more could one want in a thread ;) hahaha. I love the new horsie they are my favorite such unique personality and behavior and so peaceful. My 90g will be soon turned into a zoa, paly, ric, shroom horsie tank! You say your water temp in your reef is too high? how high exactly because i have kept horsies for a while on and off and have to say i disagree with the need for cool temps to thrive. Of course they would not do good in a reef tank with corals that can sting, and other fish that will compete for food but if you were to share sumps i think it would be no problem. ANYWHO has it ate anything yet? i hope it starts eating soon! :)

alright, since we're already on the topic...........
Can you talk a little bit about your seahorse nano setup? After seeing the pics i'm curious......

lol =) I don't know what year it is, but I'm paryting like it's 1999!

Thanks for the info.. that's interesting to hear. I have always read and been told that constant exposure to higher temps causes bacteria infections and problems in their digestive system (or lack their of)... it would be great if that wasn't true. The temps in my reef stay pretty constant around 82.. i keep them higher bc Ocean seems to do better with warmer temps.
