Let me see your refugium that you have in the back of the nano.

Do some nano's have more room for refugiums then others?

I am thinking about the 24g but not sure which brand and would like to go refugium over any of the filtration material that they provide.

Following this thread as well. Will probably make an attempt at a AquaClear HOB conversion for a 10g. Will post pictures. Does anyone have picts or experiences to share with their HOB converted powerfilter refugium?

Pescados:

2.5g with 2.5g fuge. I removed the back glass and installed a piece of same size acrylic, drilled it, built an overflow, and bam:

Top-off every other day or so. Algea scrub it with a razor blade about once a week. and do water changes like once in a blue moon (once a month maybe).

It really just runs itself.

CA is at 415 the first time I had it checked last week, I dont dose anything in it cept Reef Builder into the RO and water change water. Hell, i havent even check the salinity in like 2 months, I might do that tonight.

I used an AC70 and bought a smaller impeller, I think for an AC30, but I didnt replace it. I did the normal DIY that is available in the DIY forum here.

jmac4978,
how long have you been using that DIY refugium?

and Taikimoto,
maybe I should have been more specific, I am wanting to see the refugium mods for nano's such as the jbj, or aquapod etc... nice tank though.

Ah ok, sorry. I like my setup better than those all in ones anyways. My friend has a NC and there just isnt alot of room/freedom for creativity in them.

The tank its on is only about 4 weeks old so I'd say I had the fuge on there with macro for about 3 weeks or so now. Not long but it seems to be working well for such a small tank.
