If not I will get you taken care of.

It's comments like this that made me not hesitate to go ahead and pre order my 6045. I'll just run it for several days before making any judgement on it and should anything need attention, I'm sure I'll get taken care of. Thanks for the great support on this forum.

Dazed, I am having the same problem with 2 6025s too. It is driving me mad. What is the update on yours. Are they still running backwards at start up?

I have a 20 gallon nano with a lot of sugar sand and it blows everywhere when it runs backwards.

The 6045 has an antireverse feature. Any idea what this is, I want to try and DIY one.
Cheers

Update: the pumps do seem to be doing much better after the break-in period I know what you mean by a sand storm mine were doing the same thing and it was driving me crazy as well, let them run for a few days and see it they correct themselves if not let Roger know he has been very helpful with all of my questions.

The only other thing could be the shaft is loose. Open the pumps and look at the prop and shaft, the shaft should be fixed in the pump. I know they are new, if anything is wrong it is our fault and I will get it taken care of for you.

To show that this is true, I had two 6025's, the first was purchased in Nov 2006. After a month of running it started chattering, not starting. The shaft was loose in the pump and did not stay glued very long when I tried a diy fix (Roger had recommended this if I did not want to send it in). I pm'd Roger, got a quick response, sent the pump in, a few days later had a brand new pump.

That's service.

Thanks Roger.
Chad
