Nanostream 6045 has lost flow

Roger,

I have had on of the Nanostream 6045 for about a month now. Today when checking on my tank the flow out of the 6045 is less that it was. I put my hand in front of it to compare it to my Seio M820 it feels less. When I first placed it in my aquirium it had greater flow than my Seio.

I would appreciate your option and help on this issue.

A few possibilities, if the screen is dirty this would be a definite culprit. The prop assembly might also be worn or slipping. The magnet can spin without engaging the prop in certain instances. I would first clean the screen intake, get all the algae off and check the drive unit.
