nanostream woes

i know this subject has been done to death but it seems that my 4 month old nanostreams are suffering the same faults as the first ones-tunze hasn't fixed the problem, both mine run fine apart from every 6 weeks the clamps break and the nubs on the back break off, this happens by itself in that the pumps just fall off the glass with the clamp in 2 pieces-the clamps have been replaced twice and im waiting for two at the moment but unless tunze get serious about fixing the problem their getting binned ,im not so much worried about the pumps or the money but the downtime is unacceptable as is the risk to the livestock. i know from reading this forum that tunze usa are good about warranty as is australia the big problem here is we have to wait months for parts -again unacceptable

Hi r.d.m,

I am sorry to hear the clamps have failed again, Tunze have just started production of clamps made with a new plastic and the tabs on the C clamp have been improved. We hope to see the new clamps available in the next 2-3 weeks.

Regards
Graeme

I just asked about the shaft problems on another thread. I do not own any Tunze pumps yet but am looking to add additional flow to my tank. I might wait a few months and see if the form have better news.
