Naperville Petland

I case some of you didn't go into the Aurora Question thread I wanted to post another message under the CMAS heading.

I am one of the new owners of the Petland Naperville and we are trying to get rid of some tanks. The store will reopen before the end of the year with all new tanks however we need to either throw away the old ones, something I would rather not do, or have some hobbyists pick them up tomorrow. It has to happen tomorrow though unfortunately. Please let me know if you are interested. No need to call tonight just call about 30 minutes before you will be a the Naperville store tomorrow and I will be sure to be there.

I have:
6 - 40 gallon pre-drilled acrylic
125 glass
15 and 20 gallon tanks - glass
Lots of tanks that are incorporated in to stand alone units three high that run 6 tanks per sump. These are hard to explain without seeing them.

Thanks for all the help... hope to see you all in the store.

All the 125's are spoken for and all the 40 gallon acrylic... If you guys want I will give away the glass pre-drilled tanks that are part of the systems that I was going to sell but I can't seem to find anyone that wants them... I have 26 units with 3 tanks each... they are probably about 60 gallons a piece some divided and some full. I will be leaving th house and getting to the store around 10am so from now on just call or stop by because I won't be able to check my PM.

Thanks
Adam

Sigh  Read it the same as Evolley1 last night that there was no reservering
No need to call tonight just call about 30 minutes before you will be a the Naperville store tomorrow and I will be sure to be there.
Just call before you leave to make sure it was still there and go get it. Well grats to the lucky ones I guess.

I went over and picked up a couple of tanks and some vho lighting (Thanks Adam!). There are still a lot of tanks and some lighting.

BTW, if you decide to go over, enter around back. The construction crew is pretty cranky about anyone coming in the front door.

Thanks everyone for the inters in the tanks and equipment... sorry if there was some confusion about reserving tanks... not many people wanted certain things except for the 125's and I only thought it was fare to give them to the first person that responded.

I still have some tanks left they are pre-drilled and I think we came to a consensus today that they are 33 gallons, some are divided and others are full 33.

If you would like come by tomorrow and pick some up... no reservations first come first serve... I have to save a few but the rest are fare game.

Thanks
Adam

Thanks Adam!
They are in fact 33 longs. Drilled in both rear upper corners and most have functional bulkheads on them. The ones that are divided could easily be opened up. If you are looking for an excuse to start that Anemone only sp tank this is it folks. One for the tank and one for the sump. Nice and shallow so easy to light. No drilling required........Just remember to turn in some frags or participate in swaps once the store opens....

Obviously these tanks are acrylic right? Sorry for the stupid question. I will drive from Chicago tomorrow. I would like to pick one up and use it for a refugium. AWESOME!!

thats fine. I still would like to pick one up. It sounds like you are at the store everyday. What time can people call you? Sorry I'm just planning for the hour drive each way there and back. STILL PUMPED!!!

You guys can call any time. 630-853-3003

I will be at the store most days for the next few weeks at least and then after the store opens every day for a while.

If anyone needs ideas as to how to use the stuff that is being offered I think; Quarantine tanks ( imagine a side by side quarantine setup corals on one side and fish on the other going to a sump the same size divides so that you can medicate separately and adjust water parameters separately but have it in the same footprint.), Grow out tanks, refugiums, specialty tanks and the split tanks could make a real cool refugium sump combo under a 75 in a heart beat, the tanks are in good shape and a lil elbow grease will show you that
