NARC November-December meeting

I'm hoping to make it.
I'll bring a few xenia frags -- I think buzzbait has spoken for one. And I also have a couple of montipora frags (one digi, one cap) I could bring if someone is interested.
I too could use a new start of chaeto and a few refugium bugs if anyone has some to spare. I have a lot of chaeto, but it doesn't look that great.

Beaslbob said that he would bring his usual macro (chaeto and others.) He request for a monti frag if anyone has it (there you go, Mariner.) He is also looking for a xenia frag for his wife Verdell's tank.

As some of you my know I bought all of the contents of the post "Selling all corals Auburn Al MOVING " so if you would like a 3-5 button frag delivered to the meeting on Sat. please get your request in quickly as I will be fragging some tonight and early tomorrow. Please use the pictures in the post when referring to a color. As you my know nothing is free so make a trade offer or cash is good:bum:

Glad you can come to the meeting.
Folks often bring frags to sell or trade -- that's great and should be encouraged. But those who've been to several NARC meetings know that there are often a few free frags to be had too. Some things are free. Really. :)

Talking about swapping frags, has anyone heard about a regional frag swap taking place any time soon? We had one in January for the past two years.

Tomorrow's the big day at the Hooper Reef. Looking forward to seeing everyone. To help identify our house, Harry is typing baloons to the mailbox. Parking in the drive and along the street.

I am would be very intrested in becoming a member. How do I sign up. It has been a few years since I had my last tank but I and things have changed greatly!! I could certainlly use so sound advice and tips for the new methods.
Also I am looking for frags and cheap method of stocking my tank. I have a cycled 75RR if someone could please email me with information.

You can sign up by just showing up to our meeting, or you can sign up on our website. Unfortunately our website is down at the moment, but it should be fixed soon due to the reason mentioned above.

By the way the next meeting is on 1/20/07 and not 11/20/06.

Sounds great I sure hope I can make the meeting.
The frag swap do you have to have something to swap or can you also buy at it?

You do not have to have things to swap. You can also buy. It is a great way to get some inexpensive frags to start off. Go ahead and set up a quarantine tank before you go. And I will take my own advice and do the same! :)
 
Regarding the frag swap, MTRC has to charge $20.00 for each table that a seller or a club occupies because the hotel is charging a lot more this year. They will charge more to a commercial outfit. Can I expect that those of us who want to display their sale item (or sit at the table) share the cost of the table? If four of us are selling or trading, the individuals cost will be just 5 dollars.
