NARC September meeting

I will take 1ea. of the blue xenia, orange zoa, purple M cap if you have enough. My daughter will probably want some of these to but she doesnt get off work until 7 tonight.

If any one has any of the blue clove polyps, i would be interested in that also.

Did anybody decide to bring drinks? I will bring some if you let me know what kind and how many. Ice? Cups?

I only have a couple of blue xenia frags. I can frag some more, but they don't seem to heal as well for some reason. I hate to make a new frag to just melt away in your tank. Since Shelby2 spoke first, I will let one go to Shelby2. The second one will go to casper5096 since I think casper asked about it before. I will bring enough M cap, M. digi, orange zoas and green zoas.

Casper5096 - As for blue clove polyps, I have some of them, but they are not fragable at the moment. If you could wait a little bit, like till next meeting, I might be able to frag you a few polyps.

I'm bringing the following, for those who still want something after Tomoko runs out.
-- Xenia (1 or 2 large pieces, not blue, but you can put it under actinic and pretend ;) )
-- Anthelia (a couple of clumps, several heads each)
-- 1 Orange Monti digi
-- 1 Toadstool leather

I'm planning on coming early and leaving early so I can catch the second half of the Bama game, so if you want any of this, don't be late!
c'ya,
Mariner

I am bringing drinks if you would like to bring cups and ice.
Thanks,
Monica

$10 for a purple monti frag. If you want an orange one, I have one pushed around on the sand bed that I can give you. If Mariner is coming, I am sure that he does not mind fragging his pretty orange one :) I can frag a green digi, too.

I'll be glad to:D

I am interested in one of the orange digi. How much?

Tomoco, I want one of your purple Digi's if you have enough?

I am so looking forward to tomorrow:rollface:

I will try to get out of work early and make it. If I can do so I will bring some brown/green button polyps and some yuma rics. Tomoko, I will take some zenia, frogspawn and toadstool. Monica, I will take some kenya and give it another try.

I am out of frogspawn frag, but you are welcome to take as many pink xenia as you can.
My blue xenia (cespitularia) is bluish pink. It is the real stuff, but they are not as blue as some of you may think. Here's a site that lists a number of them. As you can see there's quite a variation among them in terms of colors and shapes:

Mine looks closest to this although it can look bluer under a different lighting condition (or different area of the tank):

Y'all are quite welcome.

Nicole is willing to host our next meeting in October. The date is still negotiable. Some of you mentioned that Sunday afternoon may work out better for your schedule. I am not adverse to scheduling meetings on Sundays periodically if the rest of you find it okay. We can actually hold a meeting in the evening, too. Some of you may want to do a cookout in someone's backyard (or in a park).

In a different thread, I mentioned about a frozen fish/coral food making. What do you think about making some home made fish/coral food together? Each participant can bring a small amount of ingredient such as scallop, oyster, table shrimp, or whatever on hand. We can chop them up in a food processor and freeze in small freezer bags. Anybody up for it?

Tomoko
