Narrowed down my fish choices...

Just wanted to post this here to see if everything seems copacetic. I have a 75G tank and am working on setting everything up. Have been doing some research and here is my proposed fish list.

2 Darwin Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Neon Goby
2 Chalk Basslets
1 yellow watchman goby w/pistol shrimp

To come quite a bit later:
Cardinal fish and/or Mandarin Dragonet

For the CUC I'm thinking Super tongan Nassarius Snail and Cerith snails. Not really sure what else...Ideas?

My tank will have a sump with bean animals overflow and a mostly coast to coast box without teeth. No skimmer but want to put in a refugium.

Thoughts? Ideas? Help? Thanks!

Clowns and the Goby/Shrimp will be a fun combo. Mandarin Dragonet's are a pain the the literal caboose to feed if I am remembering correctly. They only eat pods (correct me if I am wrong). They are very pretty but hard to feed. As for the Cardinal's....Banggai Cardinals or PJ?

You are correct most mandarins will only accept pods and will eat tons of them. My watchman and pistol cant stand each other, hopefully you have better luck :headwalls:

You will need a mature fuge producing pods for your mandy when you get him. Cheato moss with a stack of rock.

I own a couple chalk basslets myself. They look cooler in person. I wasn't to sure about them when deciding, but once I saw them in person, I decided to add them to my inmate collection. They are model citizens in my tank. Eat a lot, especially the bigger chunks of food. They are really peaceful and mind their own.

I have had two Banggai cardinals but lost them both to disease. If it weren't for that, I'd still have them. Those were cool fish too.

Thanks for the replies.
jpcemc I was looking at the Banggai and I had read multiple accounts of the Dragonet's heavy eating of pods which is why it was on my very later list.
Rajilnaja that sucks! I have read about how neat the pair are to watch, I really hope they do pair up.
Sk8R sounds good, I have been reading quite a bit of your stickys, they are very helpful. Thanks!
Crankbait I had dismissed the chalk basslets when I was doing my first look through but the more I read about them and how much everyone liked theirs I decided to do a rethink.
