Naso Pinched Stomach

Hey. my 4" naso is in my display now and he has a pinched stomach. Is there any medication that i can soak his food in. I dont want to treat my whole tank with prazi pro.

Is he eating? Will he eat Nori? A pinched stomach can mean internal worms/parasites or it could just be he's not eating enough. You can trying soaking his food in garlic but if it is worms/parasites, Prazi is about the only thing that's going to help.

Ya he eats like a pig. I feed nori twice a day and frozen cubes once a day. Eats a lot.

P.S. Make sure you read up on it before you use it, there is a lot of controversy around this product. If you use it as recommended (dosing the tank) you can cause a crash. Many people soak nori or frozen in prazi pro, although this is not recommended by the manufacturer. The best way is to dose a QT tank, but personally I don't remove fish from my display. If you search the reef central archives I'm sure you will find threads about prazi pro.

LOL I just re read your OP and saw that you mentioned prazi pro. LOL. I guess my second post is still relevant though.
