Naso Tang damaging coral?

I believe my Naso Tang is cleaning algae so well that he cleans some hard coral frag wood stands and the coral frags. Do tangs damage coral...I thought they were reef safe.

My blonde female naso has never touched any of my corals. I've he'd her for almost 2yrs she's grown from 3"s to just over 6". My buddy has had 2 in his 180 reef and never had any problems.

Maybe its not the tang, maybe the coral just was not good as its only 10 days old. It was a 1" frag.
