Naso Tang Sick! Please help!

Hello everyone, I am very sad to report that my show size Blond Naso Tang that I have had for years is sick. On Sunday I noticed a Lack of appetite and he was not swimming around as he normally does. The next day he still would not eat and I noticed rapid breathing. He was not swimming around very much and just looked like he was trying to catch his breath all the time. At this point I am very worried. Then yesterday, still no eating and still breathing rapid. At this point I am panicking!! (not really but all you fish lovers understand what I mean. He was my boy). Last night he was very week and went to his sleep spot. I knew he was on his way out when I saw this. He died last night . At no time did he have any signs of sickness other than what I stated. No ick, no spots, no fin rot, He was perfect in every way. Strong as an Ox and the biggest eater in my tank. None of the other fish in my tank (yellow Tang, Hippo, Red Sea Sailfin, mandarin goby, Niger trigger, Arabian sudo-chromis, Moorish Idol) are sick or showing any signs or symptoms. The only change in the tank was the addition of the Moorish Idol. I am proud to report the Moorish Idol is eating well and doing fine. I have a 200G Tank, 60G refug, Aqua C Skimmer, 2 250W double ended HQI with T5 actinic. I hope I covered everything. I have lost fish before long ago but I always had a good idea why. The worst thing about this loss is I have no Idea what killed him and I couldn't do anything about it if it happened again. Please help with any insight on this problem. My water is PH 8.4 Sal. 1.025 SG , Nitrates 20 PPM .

could have been an internal infection. Sometimes it happens. I had a clown for 5 yrs that was healthy as a horse then one day he was dead in the AM. It's possible he caught something from the idol. I think it's safe to say that fish just aren't going to last as long as they do in the wild in a tank.

Earl. Thanks for the input. My friend at the local fish store said it could have been intestinal blockage. I have never heard of it. Sorry to hear about your clown tang. I have always wanted one but i never see them for sale. Mean as a Sohal I heard.
