While you may have the room do you really want a fish that big in the tank? Feels to me like it would look out of place. Surviving doesn't mean thriving... Just a thought.

It makes a large tank look small. While I have a ten foot tank, in retrospect I would not keep one.

never had one, however, seen one in a 900 gallon tank and it don't look "out of place" in fact, it looked quite magnificent. the tank was very tall, maybe 4'. imo 24" in height is not enough, the other dimensions seem fine, imo.
