nassarius snail?

Just want to make sure if this a nassarius snail before I put in my tank. I checked around, but can only find pics from above (the shell).

I have those, mine are black. They do not crawl out of the tank at all, just all over the rocks.

yeah, mine too. I think we got it at the same place. So, it's reef safe, correct?

hmmm, they look like a carribean rock snail to me, similar shell to a nassarius, one good way to tell is a nassarius shell is smooth. the rock snails is not.

the rock snail will eat other snails and possibly other inverts.

Cool! As long as they stay away from the corals I'm good. Too many blue legs roaming around thinking its all good!

I don't believe it's a nassarius.
