nassarius snails

where can i find these critters besides ebay? and how much do they run?

house of fins often has them in Miami, they are usually about a 1.50.

i picked up a few larger ones a few weeks back at coral reef farm.. i think i paid $18 for 3

I think you picked up some other kind of snail illal. Nassarius vibex can be found for about $1.20 online and I believe a thread not too long ago mentioned someone local had them for like .50 ea.

They can be found in local waters, if you know where to look.

well those are the one that go into the sand right?? with the little snorkle?? ... anyways i asked for nassarius and i belive thats what he gave me.. ther pretty big and have a kind of leopard print on them and as soon as i put them in the buried in the sand

illal...you probably got some kind of conch. these snails are dirt cheap..almost as cheap as blue legs...the problem is there availability down here.

The nassarius vibex are like 1/4 to 1/2" long at the most. Looks like an olive pit and buries in the sand.

Ah - there is a larger variety. The Super Tongan Nassarius Snails . That's probably what you got.
