I've had the Obsoleta's in my tank before and liked them, but read on an ebay sellers page (selling nassarius) that the Obsoletas arent reef safe. Is this true? I never had any problem with them before.

I am looking for some snails to keep my sand bed stirred up, and to eat left over food and such. I figured i would put 150-200 in my 72 gallon tank. What would be a better choice?

i got 50 of does snails about a year ago for my 30 gal and withing a week my tank crashed. i dunno if it was related. but water turned cloudy over night and it was horrable. ammonia was trough the roof and lost everything withing 24 hours. nassarius vibex are cool and they will dig in your sand but i never seen any eat algae. get your self some cerith snails. i have some regular ones and the jumbo ones. in my opinion they are the best cleaner snails. i have nassarius vibex and ceriths.
