Native corals

Anyone ever come across zoas or other native corals in this area? Fred Howard beach, green key, etc? From pasco to Clearwater? If so I'd love to see some photos. I've gone snorkeling a few times at fed Howard beach in Tarpon Springs but have never seen any corals, maybe I'm snorkeling the wrong areas?

Haven't seen zoas in the bay area. There are other corals but the majority of them are protected

It's awesome that kind of stuff is growing here! I never would have thought it possible.

These ones surprised me. They are little ribbons of exposed limestone. Maybe 1' relief, covered in life. Never seen so many large grouper and hogfish in shallow water. If you are looking near Howard park, find the sponge beds and look closer.
