Natural seawater for reef tank

Hi. My parents want to add more live rock and even coral . Is it too fast to add coral ?. If I add cured live rock . Will there be any ammonia spike ?
That will work. I used to do 50% on my 400G about every 2 weeks. And I had a huge skimmer.

I used to run natural sea water (live in Florida) for years. I seem to have better luck with NSW, but it's a pain having to go to the store every week or two to get buckets of water.

Yes I agree it's a pain . But for me it's just 70 litre tank. Can anyone tell me about adding corals. Is it too fast ?. I have good water flow . "No skimmer". I do water change regularly 20-30% every two weeks. Tank is a month old. Has two clowns and one damsel .

Maybe add some more live rock. I don't see much growth of anything on the rocks.

If you want to add a coral, I'd try one inexpensive coral first and see how it does.

In addition to the nitrogen cycle, most tanks run through a progression of differrent algaes up to 6 months. Depending on the corals you select, they may be not be able to fight off the algae encroachment. As it has already been suggested, don’t load it up with a lot coral until you know how well your system biological filter is matured. Two to tango is a good start.

Yeah I added dead rocks like two weeks back . And I messed up my tank.
I added small lobster and a crab . They are fine no problem.
Recently I added a small tang and fed him dead fresh prawn and for the lobster and crab also.
I don't know my yesterday damsel died and today tang itself.
Feeling bad . I shouldn't have trusted so much on my "Boyu wg 308" .
Maybe there is a ammonia spike .
Gonna do 40-50% water change (natural seawater).

When my protein skimmer foams more . I could see bubbles on my tank surface.
Something wrong with skimmer ?
